You are the apple of my eye (A6 Postcard)

Story Behind

When I drew this painting, I heard the Lord spoke to me,

“You are the apple of My eye.
Stay in My wings so I can keep you safe.
Stay in My garden and I will give you rest.
Do not panic. Do not fear.
Everything is under My watch.
I am bigger than that who is in this world.
Come, let Me give you rest.”

I was so moved by His love after hearing this!

I also searched the origin of this romantic phrase “You are the apple of my eye”- a phrase that often use by many to express their love to another half in modern days. To my surprise, this romantic phrase possibly originated from the Bible! 

Keep me as the apple of Your eye;
Hide me under the shadow of Your wings,
Psalms 17:8

God designed everything - all that we need - for us when He created the entire universe. There is this deep affection and desire when He created man, and this love has never changed. 

Even though we have weaknesses and not perfect, you are still the apple of His eye. <3
