Where is the anchor of your soul?

Everyone has an anchor in their heart
Only they put the anchor in a different place.

Some throw the anchor on money
Using all the strength and methods to make money
And find the sense of security with the saving in the bank.

Some throw the anchor on work
Finding the meaning of life through performance
And prove worth of self with social status and the applause of others

Some throw the anchor on romance
Longing to find oneself through intimacy
And take the other half as the meaning of their life

Can money, work, and romance really be the rocks of safety in our lives?

Wherever you cast your anchor determines the breadth of your life
and the ability to withstand stress in adversity
